Pride Community Meeting May 27th from 6-8 pm
Let’s talk Pride! We're hosting a community meeting in two weeks to talk about everything Pride-related. Who we are, what's going on, and whatever you want to know. This isn't us talking at you, but a conversation with you, and we'll be answering your questions. Join us in the ECC Great Room on May 27th from 6-8pm. ASL interpretation will be provided.

Pride Portland Parade + Festival June 21st at 1:30 pm
Pride Portland! 2025 will take place on Saturday, June 21st, beginning with our highly anticipated parade kicking off at 1:30 PM in Monument Square. The parade route will follow Congress Street, turn right onto High Street, and end with a left onto Park Avenue. Immediately following the parade, the celebration continues at Deering Oaks Park with a lively festival featuring local performers on the main stage, a beer garden, a family-friendly area, and a variety of community vendors and resources. Pride Portland! is committed to accessibility for all attendees, with ASL interpreters provided for both the parade and festival entertainment, as well as a designated sensory tent for those who may benefit from a quiet, low-stimulation space. Join us in celebrating Portland’s LGBTQ+ community through a day of connection, visibility, and pride. For updates and more information, visit prideportland.org.

2025 Theme:
Maine Transcends Hate
Maine Transcends Stereotypes
Maine Transcends ___________

To say this Pride means more than in years past would be an understatement. That’s why our theme this year is “Maine Transcends”. We’re shining a light on the transgender community, at a time when others are trying to push them into the shadows.

The theme is intentionally open-ended. We all face different struggles, and no one truly knows what someone else might be going through. But as a community, we can come together and transcend hatred, stereotypes, our differences, and whatever burdens we each carry.

The background is a gradient of the Transgender Pride flag (light blue, pink, and white) combined with elements of the Maine state flag. At the bottom, a group of five joyful people dance in a circle on green grass. The event details are written at the top: “Maine Transcends” in large stylized text, with the date June 21, 2025, and the location, Deering Oaks Park. The individuals in the image represent diverse gender expressions, wearing colorful outfits and dancing in unity.
